Configuration Guide
After successful installation, this guide shows you how to configure the Nuclivision Gateway to receive studies and transmit them to Nuclivision.
Configuration UI
The Nuclivision Gateway SCP listener has Application Entity Title (AET) “NucleusGateway”. To configure the ports and AETs accepted by the Nuclivision Gateway, you can navigate to http://localhost:5000 on the Gateway machine itself, or to http://<ip-address>:5000
over your facility network, where <ip-address>
is the static IP address of the Gateway machine.
The default username and password are “admin” and “nucleusadmin”, which can be changed after login. The homepage shows the recent jobs received by the Gateway:
In the “Settings” tab, it is possible to configure the PACS AE, Local Ports, Storage Destinations, and Included Series.
PACS AE
This setting page shows a table that contains all AETs which are accepted by the Gateway SCP listener at incoming association requests.
To configure your PACS, delete both rows and “Create New” where you input the AET of your PACS. You can specify the RemoteIP to restrict which IP addresses are allowed to make association requests to the Gateway. If you leave this field blank, the Gateway will accept requests from any IP address with the corresponding AET.
To denote IP address ranges, the CIDR notation can be used. (handy calculator: https://mxtoolbox.com/subnetcalculator.aspx)
Local Ports
This setting shows a table that contains the SCP port where the Gateway listens for incoming association requests.
To configure another port, delete the row and “Create New”.
The Nuclivision Gateway service should be restarted for this to take effect.
Storage Destinations
This setting shows a table that contains the storage destinations where the Gateway SCU sends the processed images to.
Here, the IP address and port of the PACS or modality can be configured, together with the AET that is called. It is even possible to set the calling AET (LocalAET).
Included Series
This setting shows a table that contains the Series Description filters used by the Gateway to process and send DICOM series to the Nuclivision Cloud. If the table has no rows (default), no filters apply and hence all series received by the gateway are processed. If you want to process all series which have a Series Description that starts with PET FDG, for instance “PET FDG Whole Body NAC”, then a row with PET FDG will include these in processing.
This setting may be handy when configuring an automatic C-STORE rule on the PACS which sends a whole DICOM study.
